Look what I can do

While he’s still not at the “jumper” level, Greyson is getting better at being in his Johnny jumper.  He is beginning to push himself with his legs and loves when we bounce him.  Tonight he was loving it as we played with him.

So here is a little reminder as to why you should always keep your guard up and not take situations for granted.  I came home from work tonight and played with Greyson while Stacy was feeding him.  Alot of times when I am trying to make him laugh I bite his belly.  Tonight I got a whiff of something oderous and decided he needed a diaper change.  Stacy was done feeding him and told me to have at it.  I thought it was no big deal because it wasn’t a large deposit and we were on our bed so I had easy access.  I pulled him over to the side of the bed and was making quick work of the diaper change.  Somewhere in the recesses of my mind I was thinking to myself, “you know I’m pretty good at this whole diaper thing”.  Well I was just about to fasten the new diaper when I realized that somehow I had got a little on me, and in my efficient effort to change him had spread it on the bed spread (which is brand new and pure white), his blanket, and the new diaper.  So much for being the master diaper changer.

  1. Poor Stacy, I am sure she is wondering – is it worth it to have Bob change the diaper? Greyson looks pretty good in his jumper and quite happy about it. Keep jumping Greyson and keep getting those legs stronger.

    Love ya and miss you.

  2. Well Bob I guess you broke that bed spread in. Now when you and Greyson have a spill and make a big mess maybe it won’t seem so big. You are such a trooper to get right in there and do the dirty work again. Nice Greyson didn’t get his busy little hands in it. He sure look cute in the jumper checking everything out. Great place for him to work those legs. Wishing you all a wonderful day! Stacy I hope you can get all that mess cleaned up! It was wonderful listening to Greyson tell me Happy Birthday! Love you all…Grammie Mom

  3. Way to go Bob! Been there done that. Totally understand.

The jumper is a great tool to strengthen those legs. What fun for Greyson. He looks great.

    Have a great day!

    Love Great Aunt Nana
