Today Greyson’s “aunt” Brenda and her husband stopped by for a short visit. It was nice to see them and allow them to see how much Greyson has grown and changed. The last time Brenda saw Greyson he was still in the NICU. He’s changed a lot since then!
It was really hot today and Greyson kept asking (in his special way only a mom or dad can interpret) why we can’t get air like the car has in our house. We did take him to a restaraunt for lunch and to the mall tonight to help him stay cool. Once home we kept a little fan on him and actually I just had to put a blanket on him because he was feeling pretty cool. He didn’t nap much today (Stacy took a nap this afternoon and Greyson was supposed to but instead he just played with me, told me whopper stories with happy little yells, and played with his toys). I think the lack of naps took it’s toll on him as he has been sleeping harder than a rock since we got home from the mall. Stacy took some great pictures today but I’ll wait and post them tomorrow after I find the ones she edited. So there is something to look forward to!
Wow, Greyson you had a visit from one of my favorite people. Aunt Brenda is so nice and pretty and her hubby is sure cute, just like you. It was hot at Grammie’s, also. One of those three digit days. To hot to sleep and playing with your new toys must have been fun. Maybe if it stays hot today your Mom and Dad will take you to the mall and you will see another toy you just have to have! I agree with you Greyson, it was hot! What a lucky guy you are having your “aunt” visit. I’m sure you had a great time . If you find a new toy while you are out and about shopping, let me know and I will get it for you. A boy can never have to many toys! Glad to hear that you are still doing so well. The heat is getting to us all I think, it was really hot today. I was going to take all of your cousins to the Boise fair tomorrow for our last fling before school starts but it is going to be 100 again tomorrow and that is just too hot. I have something else planned however that will be cooler. Aly is not too happy about not going to the fair but hopefully she will be just as happy with what we will be doing. Hopefully tomorrow will be cooler for you and you can have some fun too.
