Greyson just can’t seem to get away from the his mom and dad. We are constantly loving on him and finding new ways to show him that we think he is the best! Tonight Stacy was sleeping (or trying to) when we did Greyson’s second vent vacation (we were running late tonight) so I took him over to cuddle with his mom a little while he was vent free. This other picture is from awhile back when we dressed him up in this great outfit.
He continues to improve and tonight he even sat up for a few minutes on his own (well using his arm on his mom’s leg to help balance, but still impressive!). He also put his hand on his vent circuit (he does this alot) only this time he yanked down and pulled the circuit lose from his trach. I think he was reminding us that he’d only had one vent vacation today and he was not in favor of missing out on his second one!
Greyson, God sure blessed you with such a wonderful mom and dad that loves you so much. Of course your mommy and daddy are so blessed having you. I am thinking it is either next Monday or the one after and the pulmonologist will let you be off the vent even more, how exciting that will be. You are doing so great and we are so thankful. Keep up the good work

Greyson you are going to be just like your daddy (Dr. Bob) who has his own ideas to how things should be coming along. We are so glad that you are growing and sitting up on your own. Soon you will be doing that all the time. Isn’t it wonderful to snuggle with Mom and Dad in their own bed? I know how much I loved having my babies snuggle with us. We say our prayers each and every day and thank our Lord for the wonderful baby boy he is sharing with all of us. Wishing you all just another excellent day with more things to explore and do. Hi Westfalls! You are all looking so good. It is wonderful to see Greyson thriving at home. He is so cute. I can’t wait to see him face to face. When cousin Halle saw his pictures on the computer, she squealed with delight. I think she is excited to meet him too! Thanks for keeping us updated. The blog is such an awesome testimony to all the wonderful ways that God has been working in Greyson over these past 8 months!! We love you!
