ughhh, mom your still on my pillow!

Today Greyson actually made it to church for the first time (no it’s not Sunday it’s Tuesday).  Stacy decided that she should probably practice loading and unloading Greyson without my help so she loaded him up and brought him down to see where dad goes all day when he leaves.  Of course you have to have two people but we had a nurse today so it worked out (she didn’t help Stacy, but was there to ride in the backseat with him since someone has to be there in case something comes up while driving, like the need for suctioning).  It was fun and he seemed to like it.  He told me I could use some funner stuff in my office so I might have to work on that, but he did like the pictures I had (I have pictures of him, of course, and pictures of my neices and nephew on my wall).  He found my books pretty dry and said I needed more pictures and less words like his Bible has, but overall he said it seemed like an OK place.

Amazingly it’s 9:24pm and he still has not fallen asleep.  Stacy said he was almost out when I got home around 8:30 but he woke right up and we played for awhile before putting him in his crib.  Now it’s almost like he got to worked up or something because he just won’t close those eyes!

  1. He just wants to play some more and not miss out on anything mom and dad do. You are such a little character, Greyson. How fun you got to go see where daddy works. Maybe next time you can go where mommy works, she has alot more fun stuff. I am glad you have a nurse, so hopefully you’ll get some sleep.
    Love ya

  2. Greyson it looks like you are trying to keep your Mom awake! How fun to touch and feel Mom’s face. She loves to touch and feel yours. Did you see your Daddy at work? He does work hard and has to think lots. You are so lucky to have a Daddy that is so smart. While you are little enjoy all those fun picture books and when you grow up your Dad will share his other books with you, I’m sure. Your Mom has fun books at her work and so does your grandmas. We can hardly wait for you to come and we can read to you. Everytime we see your picture you just melt our hearts. We can hardly wait to come visit. Have a super special day! Love you so much…
