When we arrived today we found Greyson wearing pants for the first time ever. He is growing up so fast! Stacy and I both held him today, he did really well. Every day he seems to be getting stronger and doing better with his breathing. Of course his blood gasses have not reflected that. His noon gas had a c02 of 70. This is too high. We are praying his midnight gas holds steady or drops lower as he if he keeps going up he’ll have to be put back on the ventilator.
Today we picked up Greyson’s crib and changing table. Between my mom and sisters and Stacy’s parents I think we have all the essentials necessary to bring him home. The only thing we are missing now is the little man himself.
Well that’s about it for tonight.
Oh, the correct answer for yesterday was 4.37617 pounds or 4 pounds 6.01881 ounces. Thanks to everyone who played. The irony is we got almost more phone calls asking for the answer than we did posts! I’m not sure what the prize is yet……we’ll have to wait and see what we can come up with.
What a cutie. Love the pants. You should be having his numbers from midnight your time soon. I will pray right now that they will be better. How cool it is for you both to get to hold him on the same day like before. Sounds just precious. Hope you have fun putting together the crib and if Stacy hasn’t made it yet while you put that together she can work on his second mitten. I would hate for him not to have a pair!

Greyson looks so cute! I just want to pick him up and cuddle him so bad. I am praying his gasses come back better, he has almost made it a week without the vent. Hopefully he got rested and they will be better. I always love your captions Bob on the updates, I didn’t realize what a good writer you are. I don’t know what I’ll do when you don’t do them, I look forward to reading them every day.

God has blessed us all so much. Our first grandchild is really growing, changing and his wardrobe is getting more stylish every day. I think maybe the appropriate prize would be to hold him when he is ready! I know I am ready and can hardly wait. We love you Greyson and love your mom and dad. We are praying for good gases!
