Call the fashion police, I look good!

It is really fun to see Greyson in his own clothes.  Today Stacy and one of the nurses were talking about how fun it was to dress him up, it’s why dolls are so fun they said.  I’d have to disagree because I kind of like dressing Greyson yet find absolutely no appeal in playing with dolls.  Greyson and I are still learning how to get him in clothes, but we are getting better all the time.

As far as c02 numbers go, Greyson continues to walk the line.  At midnight his gas was 75.  At 6am it was 68.  At noon he remained at 68.  His Dr. today thought he would probably continue to bounce in the mid to high 60’s low 70’s until he grew new lung tissue.  He thought within two weeks we should definately be seeing improvement in his numbers.  So they will just watch him and as long as he doesn’t go any higher we will just have to be patient and wait for him to improve.  At this rate Greyson might be able to come home by his due date, but may have to stay a couple weeks past it before he is ready to come home.  Of course ultimately it will depend on how Greyson is doing, and there is no way to forcast that.

  1. Greyson looks so cute in those clothes. I am glad the numbers didn’t go higher and the dr. sounds a little more reassuring as to what is going on. Did Greyson do his other job that he needs to do today ( poop)? He is such an amazing little guy. I love all of you so much, God is so good.

  2. What handsome guy….you know every girl is crazy about a sharp dressed man right? With all of the chicks around (nurses included) you had better watch out! Heart throb city! So now where are we? Two weeks from today the Dr thinks we should start seeing improvement? Or have we already made it part of one of those weeks? Not that I am trying to hold the Dr to anything :). I think I may have said something about being patient to you on the phone Bob…Im sure Im on my way to achieving some sort of Dr certificate huh? Maybe its just genetics and I pick it up from Doc Westfall? 🙂 Of course I am just being silly but it is good to know that the Dr thinks he might pull through this on his own. We will continue to pray that God will touch his little lungs and strengthen them everyday.

  3. Just received the Westfall Christmas card and discovered to our utter amazement the story of Greyson. He is truly a miracle and we feel very fortunate to be sharing in his struggle for life. Our many many prayers are with you, Bob and Stacy and especially Greyson. Thank you Bob for running this Web page. What a wonderful story it will be for Greyson’s scrapbook someday. Love from Aunt JoAnne and Uncle Marvin

  4. It is alot of fun to dress up the children. We still try when they get older but they don’t appreciate as much. So enjoy while he is little.

I have Rylee on my lap and she is saying Hi Baby Greyson!

So let him know his little cousin thinks his truck is alot of fun.

Love you! Give hugs and Kisses to Greyson.
