Post update.

OK we now have a definative answer.  Greyson has a kidney stone.  A rather large one that more than likely will not pass on its own.  He may also have some smaller ones but they are not the issue.  This is a HUGE relief to know why he has been so aggitated when we feed him and at various times.  Also the reports are back from everything else and it appears that the he is FINE!  No infections or other issues other than having some electrolytes be out of whack.  This (EVERYTHING) is related to one of the diruretics he was on so hopefully once we get the kidney stone taken care of we will be back to smooth sailing.  Since the diruretic is basically a given cause for the kidney stone, once he is off it he shouldn’t be at any greater risk for stones later in life than anyone else.  So this is good news!!

  1. It really nice to have a diagnosis and I am so glad there is no infection. Kidney stones are something that we are familiar with too. But once they are taken care of Greyson should feel a whole bunch better. Thanks for the update. We will continue to pray for Greyson and of course his very tired parents!!!!

    Love you,
    Aunt Tam

  2. Boy you guys, I hope they can get Greyson back on the top of his game real soon so you can ALL go home. Bless his little heart. KIDNEY STONES YUK….. I’m so sorry that he is having to go thru this…Thank goodness he has such watchful parents and you were on top of it. I will pray that he will be pain free very soon . Great news about his lungs and every thing else…I think home life has really agreed with him… We love you all and will be thinking of you and praying for you today….Aunt Sue

  3. I know kidney stones are awful but what a relief that it wasn’t anything life threatening. Which procedure will they do on Greyson since he so little to get rid of it? Wow it is such good news about his lungs and how he is progressing otherwise. Hopefully they will get everything taken care of real soon and he will be back home where he does so well. You and Stacy are doing such a great job with Greyson, he sure has wonderful parents.

    Love mom

  9. Greyson, Stacy and Bob,

Sorry to read that Greyson has kidney stones, but we are praying that he will soon be comfortable. Perhaps the light in this is that the new doctor was pleased with how his lungs are healing. Now that’s great news.

You are truly amazing parents. We pray for your continued strength and wellness and some more nursing assistance when you return home – hope it’s soon.

You are all in our prayers.

God Bless and good night young Greyson. Rest well and be well.

    Love,

Judy & Jim, KJ & Laura
