Well today didn’t go as expected, we didn’t begin our living in period which means we will not be bringing Greyson home on Thursday. The vents didn’t make it in so we won’t get them till tomorrow. We will do our living in period starting tomorrow night till Friday, and then be ready to take Greyson home on Tuesday. The reason for the delay is that they only discharge someone like Greyson on tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. This was a let down for sure, but we continue to believe that God has all this in control and will bring everything together at the perfect time. It will be hard to wait a bit longer, but as always God’s grace sustains us.

How cute he is looking around on your walk. He looks so little in his stroller and especially with all the stuff you have to take with him. He looks like he really enjoyed the effort it took to do it though. You guys are amazing and Greyson is doing so well because of it. I am so sorry you have to wait some more but we’ll just have to know that it will happen when God wants it to happen. I love the video.

Our prayers were to have Greyson to home in his timing. So God has big plans for this one.

Ok well as frusterating as this is you are so right to be thinking “God’s Timing”. With all that you three have been through I am certain that a few more days just to be sure that everything will go smoothly is worth waiting for! I can only imagine how this must feel for you but I also know it is truely wonderful to be able to say that this time it is NOT GREYSON that is holding you back……we haven’t been able to say that before! So just remember how far you have come. Maybe sing “You are my sunshine” to Greyson on Thursday as Bob had said that it was supposed to rain that day anyway!

Man it looks like Greyson is checking out everything. I can’t believe how much you captured in just a short little video. It is so good to see how much he is interested in his surroundings. We know how very much you wanted Thursday to be the day but as you said last night Bob, “God has a plan”. Tuesday will be here sooner than you think and everything will be comfortably in place. Greyson is such a cutie! I can’t wait to see him in person :o) I have come to expect that when God’s timing differs from mine – there’s usually a pretty good reason for it – we just don’t know what it is yet!! It’s close – just a few more days. Hang in there! Love ya 🙂
That is so cool to see Greyson and seeing him so interested in the world! it’s gonna be hard but i bet you guys are gonna have a blast with him when you do get him home. And just enjoy the time you have left at the hospital because believe it or not you will miss all us crazy hospital people. haha. I am so happy for you guys that the end of you stay is so close! And i will pray for you guys to get some more nursing help!
