hmmmm that’s really not bad, not bad at all.

Tonight we decided to bring Greyson in so he could check out the kitchen while we fixed up a real meal.  Stacy got it ready and I grilled the chicken and we sat at the dinner table and enjoyed a great meal.  Greyson wasn’t exactly at the table as his bouncy chair is pretty close to the chair, but he was close.  He kept looking at us like it was unfair as we ate in front of him.  Not to worry though, he got his food later.

Now I am just relaxing in the chair by his crib listening to the hum and whoosh of the ventilator.  Greyson is finally sleeping soundly (as is his mom) which is very good.  We are the nurses for tonight so it is good that Stacy is sleeping well so that she can relieve me in the wee hours of the morning.  Well I guess I’ll surf hulu.com for some more tv shows I haven’t watched before returning to my reading!

  1. I looked back at the last week of blogging – blogs? – anyway, I am just in awe of how young Greyson is progressing. His pictures are just great – and the duck towel didn’t fool me for long!

We feel such joy for all of you. Keep up the good work Stacy and Bob and we hope you begin to get frequent nursing assistance so you can rest. And young Greyson, rest well and be well.

  2. Wow, Greyson look what you have to look forward. Much better than being fed through a tube. Well hope everyone has a great night, I know we just got home from dinner after Lizzy’s recital and it is almost midnight. You are looking good Greyson and sleep well.

    Love ya

  3. Hey guys! I was just thinking how wonderful it is to be able to check in on Greyson every night and enjoy his progress right along with you. Almost all of our “kids” leave here and we never hear from them again, maybe see them once it year. Thank you for the blessing of keeping us informed. I know it must take a lot of time and energy. I appreciate it! It reminds me that my job has a positive impact even when I see so much heartache at times. Hope you are well.

  4. What a great family time you had. I can remember putting the babies on the table in their chairs (only theirs weren’t bouncy like yours Greyson). We all enjoyed that very much. Hope today is a great one! We just know it will be. Love you all…

  5. I agree with Corinne! Thanks for doing this for us. It helps us to stay informed. Thanks for taking the time to do it. We love it and you all!! Have a great day!!!!

  6. I think that in no short time at all, Greyson will be eating off of Bob’s and Stacy’s plate……they better enjoy their own BBQing while they can! Greyson’s official right: their plates! 🙂 It is heartening to see him doing so well.

  7. I have really enjoyed the past few pages, especially the Duck. You two are awesom and that Baby is so precious. I’m so glad that everyone is resting well. Take care Daddy, and give my niece a big hug and kiss from her Aunt Fran and Uncle Dick.
