I think I may throw up.

Yep, I’m definately going to throw up!  While holding Greyson to comfort him he apparently got a little upset as he vomited all over himself and me.  Being a child who threw up on literally everyone I came into contact with growing up I felt a bit of pride in his ability to coat the both of us.  It was quite shocking as he didn’t make any movement like he was going to throw up or anything, all of a sudden it just shot out of his mouth.

Greyson’s numbers were a little better today and we are thankful for that.  His c02 was down to 66, although some of the other numbers weren’t quite as good as they have been.  Hopefully his c02 will stay low and the rest will balance out.  Stacy worked with Greyson today by letting him taste some milk (since it goes down a tube to his stomach he really doesn’t taste anything at this point).  He seemed to like it.  He was pretty upset at the end of our time there (is this becomming a pattern?) but the DR. allowed him to have a supository after we requested one.  When the nurse (Ashlie again) put it in Greyson finally decided to let some loose.  Sorry Ashlie!  He will get a few supositories over the next 24 hours to make sure things are moving properly and hopefully help his stomach to feel better.

  1. Well , dad you have been officially welcomed to the world of being a parent. You did the same thing when you were little, I would think everything was fine and all of a sudden you would let loose. I had to go home many Sundays from church and change. I am so glad Greyson’s co2 went down, I noticed he was on the cannula in the picture. Have a good night Greyson and your mom and dad.

  2. Well, you have made it into the “throw up” club! Some of us have got it a lot worse than others. I believe Mom is the winner in this category or maybe Derek. So sorry to hear that his tummy is still not up to par….but even if his tummy isnt feeling so great he still manages to take a really cute picture. Two weeks and counting until Aunt Deb and I get to come for a visit! We are getting pretty excited. It dumped another 2 inches of snow on us last night so getting ready to go to church this morning is going to be a little more challenging. Hope you have a fun day with Greyson Stacy and Bob I hope your sermon goes well. I saw a saying yesterday. “You can preach a better sermon with your life than with your words!!!” Or something to that effect.

    Love Ya,
    Aunt Tam

  3. Good afternoon Greyson, Stacy & Bob,

The pictures just keep getting cutier and cutier & it looks like you and dad are really pals. You can’t do better than having a mom and dad like yours little one.

Bob – I, too, hope your sermon went well and Stacy, guess that means that only one car went to the hospital, so you lessened the chances of getting pulled over again. Just kidding.

Is Greyson in the hospital on the hill overlooking downtown Tacoma and the Sound? KJ and I spent a part of one New Year’s Eve there because I thought he might have put a Reece’s Bits up his nose. When I asked him, he shook his head and smiled – which is a double message. I didn’t really think he had, but just to be on the safe side, I took him in. I was right, but better to know – and I thought his Mom and Dad might appreciate my being certain as well. I like that area. Laura, Chip and KJ lived in Ruston -which is just below Point Defiance. Cute community and a nice stroll to the park and the ferry.

Greyson, you and your mom and dad are in our prayers. Rest well, and get strong.

    Judy
