Now look what you guys started!

Actually Greyson (and the rest of the family) love hearing from you all.  Your posts help us know that there are others who are sharing in the miracle that God is doing in and through Greyson’s life.  So thank you very much!  Not to mention the laughs we are getting, which help keep our spirits up when we face tough days.

Today was close to a fantastic day.  Greyson’s c02 was down to 59, he was awake a bit while we were there.  His weight, head, and length numbers were all good (his weight is now 7 pounds 4 ounces, his length is 20.25 inches, and I can’t remember anything about the head measurement except when the nurse tried to do it a second time to make sure she had it right, he squirmed so much she couldn’t do it!).  The only downside was Greyson had another Brady last night.  In case you forgot, Brady’s are what they call it when their heart rate drops lower than it should be.  We are not sure of the cause but it is possible that Greyson has some reflux issues starting to show up.  This is very common in preemies and if he was refluxing and coughing it would probably explain the brady.  Again time should answer these questions and solve the problem.

Tomorrow Greyson will have another head ultrasound.  This is because he is now over 38 weeks gestationally.  If it is normal this will be the last one as he is now full term gestationally!

  1. That is the best news! God is so awesome! I am so happy for the three of you! Every day is one day closer…Love you guys! Stacey

  2. Great news! Got to love the 50’s right? Hope you have another great day today. We will praise God and continue to pray for Greyson’s lungs. We (well the kids) are having a SNOW day today so they have no school. Unfortunately for Aunt Deb, Jon and Liz they still have to go….or at least as of last night they did. Anyhow, they (the girls) wish you lived closer so they could go “hang” with you and Greyson….and in case you have forgotten 7lbs 4 ounces is what Teila weighed at birth!!!! Such a “big boy!” We cant wait to hear how the ultrasound goes and are praying for a CO2 of 54!!!! Thats our new number.

    Love you,
    The Sebrights

  3. We will pray for his head ultrasound to come back perfect! As always, we will continue to pray for his little lungs! Greyson seems to be a thoughtful little one. He always has his hand on his head! He must be pondering a lot! We are off to make a snowman (YIPEE!! SNOW DAY!!!) and the kids want to make a little baby one for Greyson. We will send you a pic as soon as we are finished. If you are having weather like we are, please be careful driving!!
    WE LOVE YOU ALL!!!
