So not a lot to write about other than we have been having a great time playing with Greyson. Today Stacy and I standing over him and quickly squating down and tickling him. The first couple of times he was startled, then he thought it was funny. It’s a lot of work to entertain him, but as soon as you stop and walk out of the room he sets off an alarm. Last night I was working on the computer and the nurse was in the kitchen drawing up his meds. Stacy was in the bedroom. I heard the alarm go off and went to check on him. When I walked into the room and said, “hey buddy, what’s the problem?” he just looked up at me and grinned. Later when I told him goodnight and to be good to Gloria he gave me the same little ornery grin he gave me when I talked to him earlier. I think he’s learning how to work us by using his machines.
Oh Bob and Stacy, I just am amazed at how precious “our” Greyson is. What a cute video. I love this so much and the picture from the 27th was wonderful…Thank you again for sharing. I’m so thankful he is doing so well. I love you all so much and continue to pray for you each day…Please know you are so often in our thoughts and conversations…
My love to you, Aunt Sue
That video is quite funny, Lizzy, Jon, grandma great, and I really enjoyed it. Greyson is pretty smart so I imagine he has figured out the alarms and how to make you all come. He likes having everyone around. I was also glad to see you posted so early just like you said you would, we were happy to get to look at it before we go to bed.
Jonathan says he thinks gas prices are too high also. Hopefully battery prices won’t go so up so we can’t play our games.
Lizzy says hi and she loves you Greyson.
We had a BBQ tonight to celebrate the last day of school and of course the conversation always ends with Greyson updates and pictures! Amazing that parents in my classroom today wouldn’t leave until I gave them your website so they could check up on Greyson on their own. What a well loved little boy you have!
We agree with Greyson about those gas prices and are very sad that he can’t even drive his tonka truck! That is horrible! Do they make a Tonka in a hybrid?
Thanks again for doing the blog! We so appreciate it. Love you all bunches!
What an absolutely wonderful video – KJ is in bed, but Jim and I watched it three times and got quite a kick out of it.
He’s so right about gas prices – I’ll have to send his piggy bank soon, so he can at least drive his Tonka truck around the living room.
We hope you continue to get the help you need in caring for Greyson. He’s so cute, the nurses will be standing in line before long just to see that smile.
Well Westfall family – know that you are all in our prayers.
Rest well and be well young Greyson.
Goodnight,
Judy & Jim
haha!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the video! poor guy, maybe i’ll bring him some extra gas for his tonka toy. haha. And what a smart guy he is if he is working the system now with those machines. but you can’t blame him. 🙂
That baby is getting so cute! I’m sure you guys are waiting for school to be out so Grammie Jo can come and visit. I’m not surprized Greyson is already learning to work the system and Bob this is only the beginning. You two are going to find yourselves wondering how did this kid get our numbers so quickly. They just get smarter and smarter. That’s why God makes them so cute cause how can you get irritated with something so precious. Stacy how ya doing? I’m so glad you two have help and each other. Your doing a fantistic job. Take care, we love you all. Bunches and Grundles.
