Well we’ve been working with a sick kid the last couple of days. Greyson was pretty fussy on Monday but nothing terrible. Then on Tuesday he slept alot and was really fussy again. Last night he also started sporting a temperature. This has continued off and on today. Right now his temperature is better and he seems to be feeling better than he did last night, but he is still fighting whatever bug he managed to pick up. The good news is he is still breathing well and seems to be getting past it with nothing more than some Tylenol. We are praying tomorrow he is more back to normal. We miss our fun & happy little guy! Having said that he does still smile and play a little. In fact if you didn’t know him you might not realize he feels so crummy. A lot of the “diagnosis” has simply been that he just isn’t acting like Greyson.
OK so that’s the bummer news for the day (hey it’s a whole lot better than the bummer news we had to report on sometimes last year huh!?). Today we did learn that Greyson LOVES to put his sleeves in his mouth. For awhile now when we go to dress him in long sleeves he has been putting his sleeve in his mouth before you can get his hand all the way through the sleeve. Well we thought this might be just because he likes his hand in his mouth. Well tonight as Stacy was trying to get him in the outfit you see in the picture, he continually worked his hand so he could chew on his sleeve, not just his hand. I don’t know why that’s better than real food, but he really likes chewing on his sleeves!
I am so sorry Greyson is not feeling good, but I am glad he is breathing good. There is alot of colds going on here, I missed last Fri work because of it, Grandma Great now has it and I think Debbie has it too. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for all of you. Some kids like the texture of some materials. They suck on the corner of blankets etc. In Greysons’ case maybe it is the next best thing to chewing since he doesn’t get to do that.l I also wonder if it isn’t another tooth working its way thru. Just thinking out loud. Anyway he looks like he likes rocking with his daddy. No one can do that likes moms and dads. Take care and yes this is way better than ups and downs from last year.
This is more like normal kids stuff, but we still never like to see them not feel so good, expecially when they can’t tell us where they hurt.

Poor little guy! It is so hard to watch your baby be sick and not feel the best. I am glad he is holding his own with the breathing though! I can appreciate how he feels. We have all had a horrible cold and I feel just yucky now. It makes it hard to be at Parent Teacher conferences when you would rather be at home in bed!!! Please snuggle with him for us and read a SkippyJonJones book! That always makes my kids feel better! Tell him to get better before Halloween tomorrow! He needs to get dressed up! What are you three going to be?
I hope Greyson is well enough to wear his very Curious George outfit tonight. It will look so cute on him. Gram is going as a Scarecrow in a Spider patch. Hope your day is filled with fun and no sickies. We sure love you guys and it is hard on us, as well, when one of you isn’t feeling well. We just wished we were closer to help. Hugs…G and P
I can only imagine how cute Greyson will look dressed up like Curious George! I hope you will send out a picture. His cousin Emma is dressing up as American Girl doll, Kit Kittridge; cousin Caleb will be a frog hunter complete with a net and frog tank; cousin Halle is a hound dog; Uncle Mike is sporting a mullet wig and tie died shirt reminiscent of his high school days; and I am going to be a pirate. ARRGGGGHH! Happy Halloween!!

Hope you are feeling much better and are able to “trick or treat” or at least enjoy the children that visit tonight.
We enjoy all your pictures, but really liked seeing you with your Papa and Grammy. We think Papa looks like his father.
