Well today turned out to be a very big day for Greyson. No he didn’t come off the vent, but he was moved to a crib! Yep my boy is in a big boy bed now. It was funny to watch him. I got to hold him today and after holding him we put him in the crib. He was looking all around like, “hey, something is very different about this!”. As long as he does well in the crib this will be one of the three things he has to complete in order to come home. That is holding his own body temperature in an open air crib. So far it looks good. He did have a pretty bad de-sat about an hour after being put in the crib, but that is not related. It was so fun to be at his bedside and be able to look at him and talk to him without the plastic wall of the isolette in the way. Of course being out in the open air he now has to wear more clothes, which continually cracks me up to see. I don’t know why but I just can’t get over the look of him in these clothes that are so big on him.
Thanks to those who have been praying for Sebastian. While I probably won’t be able to give much updates on him (he’s not my child and I can’t ask questions to anyone except his parents, which we don’t see all that often as we often come at different times) from what I gathered from his parents things were a little better today. Wednesday they will be having the funeral for Sebastians twin so that will definately be a difficult day for the family.
Thanks so much for the updates, Bob. A big boy bed… wow! Way to be. Any more word on the weening of the rate or pressure? And I know I should know this, but what’s the de-sat?

I cant wait to see him in the BIG BOY BED! Way to go Greyson super surprise for Aunt Tam! We will keep praying for him and Sebastian and Eva…the list goes on and on. But how cool for Greyson. We will celebrate when I get there for sure.

Mom sent me the link to your blog site! I am so excited to have updates on Greyson. I just read all that I could find on this site. It sounds like he is really being a trooper and is gaining weight and progressing nicely. What wonderful news! I have kept him in my prayers and will continue to do so. Give him kisses from us! Greyson looks so snuggy in his new bed. Stacy said his night went well in the new bed as well. This is so exciting! God has surely been good. Love you guys Mom
