As I write this Greyson is makng cute little snoring sounds and moving his mouth around like he is talking. Pretty cute stuff. Greyson was a very good boy today and whethered many visits from doctors and staff with good humor. His cardiologist came by to do an echo. It was a good report. Then a group of RT students came by to watch Mom and Dad do trach care. The pulmonologist also came by to review Greyson’s charts and stuff to see about going home. He said he was a little concerned about his high co2’s (they are still in the mid 50s usually). He would like him to be ideally between 35 and 45. It wasn’t really clear whether this will delay our departure because he also talked about lining up our nursing care, doing our training, and getting our equipment. I was here alone and didn’t ask enough pointed questions so we are a bit confused as to what exactly he was thinking but one thing is for sure, we really trust these doctors and their recommendations. If he doesn’t think Greyson can safely go home we are going to be grateful that we have someone here to set a safe path that will lead to healing and success. The pulmonologist will check back Monday and will be very involved with us from here on out.
One area that could use some prayer is Greyson’s g-tube has a little infection on the surface. They are giving him some antibiotics and some antibiotic ointment to fix it up. Sounds like it should resolve pretty easily, but in the mean time I’m sure it really smarts.
Greyson got to have some well deserved tub time today. He really enjoyed his soak and even posed for this cute pic. We love him so.
Hi Bob and Stac, Oh and how it shows that you “love him so”. What a precious baby boy. He is just getting cuter by the day and it is soooooo good to be able to see his whole face in the pictures. I just want to reach out and touch him…I hope he knows how much his Aunt Sue loves him…
We are so please that things are continuing to progress toward going home. Again you two are amazing with all the things you are learning and will be able to do..WOW. I love you all and pray this will be another good day…Aunt Sue
We love you all soooooo. Greyson does look like royalty. He is our little prince! Have a wonderful day…Love Mom and Dad
Man!!! He gets cuter every day…….
I am sure you know this already, but Greyson has a fan club of many others who love him too! He is such a special little man! We will continue to pray for healing and a safe transition to home. Have a great weekend.

What wonderful news and we are praying, too, that the infection on his g-tube will heal right up.
We look forward each day to the next step in Greyson’s progress towards going home – yours too. You are already great parents, now you are also highly skilled.
We wish you all a very good day and young Greyson, way to go – keep up the good work.
Rest well young man and be well.

Bob and Stacy,
Wow! Is Greyson looking like such a big boy these days! We are so happy to see him progress toward going home. Know that our prayers are still with you always and that we look forward to the day when we get to meet this mighty little cousin we’ve been watching grow and come through so much. You two are amazing! May God Bless your family and keep you securely in His loving arms.
God Bless,
Jenell and family
Greyson looks so cute and I bet he really enjoyed his bath.
I was looking back at his pictures and it is so nice to see nothing but his little face. He is so adorable.
Praying for the progress to go home be the right timing and everything to go smoothly.
