We didn’t really take any pictures or video of Greyson today (it’s a shame I know!) so here is one from the other day.
Yesterday Greyson and I went with Stacy to school and helped her set up her classroom. Actually one of Stacy’s previous students helped her and Greyson and I…….entertained each other. It worked well and Stacy got a lot done. Then when we got home I worked a lot with Greyson on words like dad and mom and ball really emphasizing the b’s d’s and m sounds. It must have made an impact because last night after we put him in his crib the nurse started really laughing and when Stacy went in to see what was going on Greyson was using both hands to hold his lamb in front of his face as he loudly talked to it. I think he was trying to teach his lamb the same way I was trying to teach him! Greyson didn’t sleep well last night so he napped a lot today. Hopefully he will sleep well tonight since we don’t have a nurse and his mom and dad would like to get some sleep. We’ll have to see how it goes.
Greyson is so cute in black and white or color. I wonder if he is cutting another tooth, and that is why he didn’t sleep so well. Hopefully tonight will be a good night for all of you. Sleep tight
Love Grandma Terry
Boy Bob one thing I can tell you….and you’ll learn it soon enough. Kids are little sponges. Your facial expressions, your tone when your talking to them. They pick it all up REALLY FAST. God makes them so special and what a gift. They teach us to be more aware of everything! You and Stacy are so blessed and hey sleeping is over-rated anyway. They say, in recent studies, babies, teenagers and older people need more sleep. From experience I can tell you that parents DON’T sleep when they have babies and the only time you sleep when you have teenagers is when they are in the house and you’ve established that they are infact sleeping. But…hey when all your children leave home you sleep like a baby. So look what you have to look foward to..!! Love you Guys!!!
Greyson was teaching lammie to talk huh! How cute is that!! I will have to come over and play with you guys soon!
