OK so the passive agressive side of me said I should not post ANY picures today, after I specifically instructed everyone not to give me grief for not getting any new pictures (and I couldn’t post any old ones as the only pictures on my laptop are the ones already on the web), but I decided to be gracious and give you extra.
So I didn’t update the post last night, but we found out the reason Greyson was having such bad withdrawls (aside from the fact that he’s a bit hooked). There was a slight mix up with the weening orders and while he got the two new drugs to help with the ween, they took him completely off the other drugs instead of just weening him down on the doseage like they intended to. So he is doing much better today.
Stacy and I really enjoyed giving him a bath (in his own tub!) and he didn’t seem to mind too much either. We then put him back in bed and did all his trach care, in about half the time it took us to do it yesterday. This afternoon we met with the speach therapist and she gave us some good tips to get him going again on his oral development.
We just got back from dinner and Greyson is snoozing so we will leave him alone for awhile. Then later we will probably hold him, getting him out of bed ourselves!
Well Greyson, it sounds like today is a better day – we’re so thankful for that.
Did anyone tell you it was snowing? KJ’s Nana is visiting and she said she had some on the way down – she lives in University Place which is just south of you, and we had a fair amount this morning, but it didn’t stick for long.
I am so impressed by how well your parents are doing with your care and how very good you are when they do it. When you are older, you will really appreciate all the great thing they do for you and they have this documentation for back up!
I absolutely loved the newest pictures. Your mom and dad look so happy and we are so happy for all of you. Just think – you’re on the launcing pad for home.
Good night young Greyson and keep up the good work. We are praying that your days just keep getting better.
Rest well and be well.

Greyson is looking great & you guys are WONDERFUL!
Just watching Greyson’t progress the last few days has given me goose bumps. It’s amazing how everything is falling into place. I’m sure there will still be hard days, but at least Greyson is taking bigger steps forward than he is backwards. I am so proud of the three of you! I feel so lucky to be able to see Greyson grow. Thank you so much for sharing him. Take care, and I will see you three soon.
Love the pictures, they are so good. I’ll bet Greyson loved his bath and the little shirt is so cute. You guys are doing such a
great job with his care and will be pros in no time. Thanks for letting us see pictures, we are very grateful.
Love ya
Grief…I am not sure we gave you grief but just simply said that a day without new Greyson pictures was extremely hard. Plus, it worked. Look, you gave us 3!!!! We win! Thanks for the awesome pictures! Isn’t bath time the best? What a sweet little boy you have!
What a great picture day! Well worth waiting for! ( I never even commented on the non-picture day so no complaints only praises for how well things are progressing). He sure seems happy with his bath time and enjoys his dad and mommy time and being held. Your little bundle is thriving and soooo sweet and cuddly. He looks wonderful and yours and Stacy’s care for him is incredible.
God’s love to you three,
Elaine
Thanks Bob for humoring us with the pictures. They are awesome. It looks like Greyson loved his bath. I especially liked the first pictures where he seems to be saying “Now this is the life.” We praise God that the two of you are doing so well with your schooling. We are sure that you will be getting a A+ on all of your tests involving Greyson’s care and he will soon be on his way home. Blessings to you three…
