and I kept my thumb out just like you taught me when I punched her….

So Stacy told me (yep I’m sick AGAIN and didn’t get to go) that she heard from the nurse a funny story about today.  Apparently when she got there Greyson woke up and was upset.  So she picked him up and said the only part of his body that was touching her was his stomach as he was arching so much.  He was also swinging his arms and kicking.  “He’s got a pretty good punch” she said.  He’s naked in his bed in this picture because he was throwing such a fit the nurse was unable to put clothes back on him, although it’s hard to imagine from this picture.

It sounds like they had a great visit today.  As soon as Stacy got there Greyson woke up and was really social and happy, just loving visiting with his mom.  His GI study is going to be on Wednesday so it is good to know that we will possibly have some results from that soon.  While he was awake most of the time he did fall asleep in Stacy’s arms and just snuggled in really well.  Stacy can’t really describe it she says, but it was definately a great moment from what she can get out.  Basically she describes it by smililng and holding her arms like she is holding him and looking down where he would have been.  So it was one of those moments!

  1. today was my first day of work at children’s…i thought about greyson a lot, thinking i may get lucky enough to run into the three of you at children’s in the future for some sort of happy check-up appointment. he is getting so big and i can only imagine how cute he will be when he is two or three (before you know it)!!

  2. Wow – you’ve already learned to keep your thumb out – I didn’t learn until much later in life – like about 30 something. I’m thinking you’re really going to be a wealth of information and skills by the time you’re walking.

Your dad is right, you look quite content in your crib – and wow, are those your sheets or a blanket? Either way, what colors. And although we’re sorry your daddy isn’t feeling well, we’re glad you had such a great visit with your mama. There’s nothing like snuggling with your little one. Hope your daddy is feeling fine tomorrow.

We are thinking of you and hope the GI tests determine a good way to manage or get rid of the reflux.

Good night little one, rest well and be well.

    Judy
