Well today we only got to be there for one care time because I had to get back for men’s bible study.\u00a0 We went with a couple from our church and it was nice to be able to show Greyson off.\u00a0 He is maintaining his temperature well and remains in the crib.\u00a0 They are still trying to ween him off the vent although last nights blood gas was on the higher side.\u00a0 We’ll have to see what he does tonight.\u00a0 The eye Dr. came while we were there and gave him his second exam.\u00a0 He tolerated it pretty well.\u00a0 Basically there hasn’t been any change since the first exam.\u00a0 He still has stage 2 retinopothy of prematurity which means he will need to be watched closely as his eyes develop.\u00a0 As long as it stays in stage 2 no intervention will be necessary and he will develop normal vision.\u00a0 If it advances to stage 3 they may have to look into doing some laser surgery to correct the blood vessel growth but that is not something we have to worry about right now.\u00a0 Not really much else to say other than he looks really good in a crib!\u00a0<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
