Oops.\u00a0 Looks like I forgot to do an update for yesterday and if my computer doesn’t stop making this bad clicking noise I may not be able to do an update tomorrow.\u00a0 It sounds like it is dying but I can’t track down the problem yet.\u00a0 Hopefully I’m geeky enough to fix it soon.<\/p>\n

Man how time flies.\u00a0 I can’t believe we are almost at the end of May already.\u00a0 I feel like I’ve lost a year (but I gained Greyson which was MORE than worth it!).\u00a0 Well yesterday we took Greyson for his weekly outing to a Dr’s appointment (he basically has at least one Dr’s appointment every monday).\u00a0 This was for the GI.\u00a0 They said he looked good, made some changes to his feeding recipe, and told us to schedule another visit in 4 months.\u00a0 We are hoping we can schedule that appointment for silverdale as the Dr comes over once a month.\u00a0 We’ll see how it works out.\u00a0 The nefrologist was able to squeeze us in on Friday so we will be running back over to Tacoma then.\u00a0 They will run a bunch of tests and hopefully be able to provide better input into how to work with his kidneys to keep the fluid off, lower his calcium levels (they are too high again), and help him with the kidney stones all without compromising his respiratory status.\u00a0 It’s a lot for them to do but that’s why you call them a specialist.<\/p>\n

Tonight we have a new nurse here with us for a few hours who is orienting.\u00a0 She is going to work for us on Saturday nights.\u00a0 This will be a huge help as that is a night I can’t stay up past 1am or I would be unable to function at church on Sunday.\u00a0 That leaves Stacy to do most of the night and most of the day Sunday.\u00a0 So this new nurse will be a huge blessing.\u00a0 We still have a long way to go to get the nursing hours we need in order for Stacy to go back to work.\u00a0 So please continue to keep that in your prayers.\u00a0 We seem to get nursing for days, or nights, but not both, which we will need at the end of summer for the hours Stacy is working.\u00a0 It’s going to be very interesting to see how God works this all out.\u00a0 We are still just blown away by the people Stacy works with.\u00a0 Her leave has run out again but they have sent out another request for others to donate more leave to her and it sounds like some will.\u00a0\u00a0 I honestly don’t know how we would have made it through this year if the teachers at her school had not been so generous.\u00a0 God really does provide and we have to remind ourselves that He knew what He was doing when He blessed us with this incredible child.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
