As stated yesterday, Greyson is gaining to much weight.\u00a0 This means he is retaining fluid.\u00a0 He was definately looking a bit puffy today, we are uncertain as to why.\u00a0 He is still peeing and pooping (while Stacy was changing his diaper today he shot poop out, graphic I know but kind of funny!) so that is good but we are hoping we can identify what is going on.\u00a0 They will check his lites tonight and see how that is doing.\u00a0 He is on extra sodium because his numbers have been a little on the low side.\u00a0 We’ll see how they look tonight and if that helps explain things.\u00a0 The nurse tonight also started weighing his diapers again so we can see how much he is putting out in regards to how much he is taking in.\u00a0 This coupled with watching his blood pressure closely should help us “keep an eye” on things till it goes away or we find a reason for what is going on.<\/font><\/p>\n

As for the lungs, they reduced his vent settings by two (yep Dr. Bob called it!).\u00a0 Unfortunately his noon blood gas was bad so they went back up.\u00a0 They ran another gas at 6PM and it was good again but they will wait to see what his midnight gas is before they make any more changes.\u00a0 So pray for his lungs as always and for whatever is going on with this fluid bulid up.<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
