Today was a fun start as Greyson was chillin in his bouncy chair when we arrived.\u00a0 He is really enjoying it now that he has gotten used to it.\u00a0 I keep telling him that it is his and it will come home with him when he comes home, and also that we have a swing for him here so he won’t have to miss the one he likes at the hospital.\u00a0 Anyway I picked him up as he was wide awake and held him for awhile.\u00a0 Then we put him in his crib for a second for some reason.\u00a0 When Stacy picked him up he coughed like he might be refluxing and she asked him if he was going to throw up.\u00a0 “No” I said, “he’s fine”.\u00a0 So she handed him to me and I was holding him and talking to him when all of a sudden….yep.\u00a0 Projectile vomit!\u00a0 I was pretty impressed as he shot it straight out about 4 feet (all across my chest).\u00a0 Poor guy then kept smacking his mouth like he had a terrible taste in it.\u00a0 I’m sure he did as it smelled bad.\u00a0 After getting him some sugar water to suck on so he could get the bad taste out of his mouth I had to run to the store and buy a new shirt.\u00a0 I was smart enough to buy two so now I have\u00a0a backup to keep in the car for future emergencies.<\/p>\n

We saw evidence again that Greyson’s lungs are getting a little stronger.\u00a0 When the RT put him back on the cpap he started screaming and thrashing around like we were killing him.\u00a0 It made the RT feel really bad.\u00a0 Stacy and I finally got him settled down and he went back to sleep (he’d just fallen asleep prior to having to go back on cpap).\u00a0 Then he was picking his head up and turning on his side like he wanted to roll over so I flipped him onto his back.\u00a0 Not a wise move let me tell you!\u00a0 Once again he was screaming like the world was coming to an end.\u00a0 A little while later when he had settled back down we realized that he did all that screaming and thrashing around without a major de-sat.\u00a0 Pretty impressive.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
